Saw them there last year, great performance; saw them there last night, not so good. Everything besides the drums was blended into an overdriven earsplitting buzz of distortion through the PA. I know they can do better because I was there when they did. Sometimes you just have to back off the gain.

I know the sound, its not pleasant. You're right of course, you can still have oomph and power without a heap of gain.
I hope to see them soon! :D
